Ian, originally from the UK, now residing in Bend, OR, is known for his staggeringly fast 100-mile times and his penchant for racing marathons dressed as Elvis. In 2011, Ian nabbed the course records at the Rocky Racoon 100 miler, the Ruth Anderson 50K and the Mt. Hood 50 miler. He also owns nine Guinness World Records for his costumed marathon results! Ian coaches running athletes world wide and co-hosts an ultrarunning podcast, Talk Ultra.
